Our client is looking for Electro-Mechanical Technicians who will be required to build and test assemblies. Also inspect and test the finished products. Duties & Responsibilities • Using hand tools and machine shop equipment such as drills, grinders, tube bender, lathe etc. • To produce mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies in accordance with appropriate documentation achieving the required productivity and quality objectives. • To ensure that all relevant documentation is completed accurately at all times. • Packing and protection of products • To be able to identify opportunities for process, productivity and quality improvements and highlighting issues to Management. • To report any defective equipment to Management. • Adherence to all health, safety and environmental standards in accordance with company procedures and processes reporting all health, safety, environmental issues and concerns Knowledge, Skills and Experience • Soldering skills, extremely dexterous, and able to work with minimal supervision. • An experienced wirer preferably for load cell / transducer assembly. • Wiring and soldering experience essentially along with small component assembly. • Ability to read drawings and Standard Operating Procedures in order to perform assembly tasks will be an advantage • Experience of installing and supporting the Windows Operating System. • Basic test experience • Good PC skills and in particular Excel spreadsheet knowledge desirable • Ability to lift 20kg • Full UK Driving licence. • Good communicator and an effective member of a production team
