Claims Customer Care Handler Salary: £19,000 - £20,000 Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm Location: Derbyshire, Chesterfield About the Company Specialising in Motor Insurance, we pride ourselves on delivering first class service, ensuring the customer has a smooth and stress free experience. Job Responsibilities: • Contribute and work within the parameters of the agreed business plan for Claims • Deliver against agreed objectives, KPI's and SLA's. • Ensure complaints are handled within set guidelines and objectives. • Manage all claims within your portfolio through to a satisfactory conclusion within required timescales. • Maintain detailed knowledge of claims handling practice. • Be able to understand and guide handlers on complaints within Specialist AD claims. • Ensure compliance to company reserving and payment philosophy. • Understand and apply the principles of TCF. • Complete complaint Department audits as required Desired Skills: • Excellent customer service skills • Previous complaint handling experience in a claims environment • Good level of motor claims handling experience • Motor Schemes knowledge • Excellent communication skills • Strong organisational skills • Ability to resolve problems • Understanding and ability to implement delivery of department KPI's and SLA's
