Role – Sales Administrator Salary – £16,000 – £21,000 Location – Derbyshire The Company My client is a process engineering specialist who design and manufacture turnkey process equipment solutions for clients in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, materials handling amongst other industries. The company turns over £30 million a year with a headcount of 130 and an incredible 70 professional engineers (18 of whom are chartered) across software, process, electrical and mechanical design. The company have a trading history that dates back over 200 years and a senior management and directorship team who are all home grown from within the business. The company are owned by a large international growth are in 2018 are due to have the biggest year in their history making it a very exciting year to join the business. Each project is developed from initial enquiry through to full design and finally installation and commissioning on site, a project could last up to 2 years and involves input from process, electrical and mechanical engineers. The company are currently looking for a Sales Administrator to start with immediate effect to support with administration on projects. The Role The role of Sales Administrator will involve: * Purchase order creation within internal ordering system. * Raising orders and getting costs from suppliers. * Checking supplier payment terms within the system. * The Project Engineers will gather all the information regarding the order ready for purchase, you will then administer it. * Chasing up quotations. * Putting sales order information into the MTMS system and ensuring each area of the business knows what they need to do. * Getting hours completed by project engineers loaded onto the system so they can track costs for the week. * Filing purchase order numbers. The Person To be successful in your application for the Sales Administrator roll you will need: * Previous experience in administrating purchase orders. * Excellent attention to detail. * Previous experience using a management system such as MTMS/SAP or Sage.
