Are you looking for your next PERMANENT OPPORTUNITY? If so, then this may be of interest to you! A Wirral based secondary SEN school are working closely with me in order to appoint a Teacher or HLTA to work with their nurture class. These pupils display the most challenging behaviour due a range of reasons, including lack of attendance. Your role will include a large portion of class management with the support of teaching assistants. Meticulous lesson plans are absolutely essential as the aim is to reintegrate these students back into the wider school environment. You will teach cross curricular subjects including English, Maths, Art however you do not need to be a specialist in these subject as these pupils are working at a lower ability level. This school has a strong team ethos and robust behavioural policies. It is a well supported environment with the opportunity for a permanent job offer following a period of time in the post. Due to the nature of these pupils, the role allows for a HLTA or a qualified teacher, as behavioural management and engagement experience is the key skill here. The role can be incredibly rewarding for the right candidate with generous remuneration. If you are interested in this post, please call Jemma Howson at CER on (Apply online only)
