The opportunity: We are looking for a business development manager with capture experience with a passion for transportation to support our growth in Europe, often through development of complex solution offerings. Preferably based either in London or northern Europe, the successful individual will be responsible for growing both existing accounts and identifying new opportunities to target, likely to include Scandinavia and Northern Europe as well as key accounts in England. Cubic is targeting significant expansion in Europe, and this role is pivotal to that expansion. This is a, varied, exciting and rewarding role as part of a successful team, with opportunities to both grow existing accounts and identify new areas to target. What we’re looking for in you: The successful candidate will preferably have experience in the transport technology sector and be experienced in structured sales cycles associated with public and private sector procurement. They will have evidence of significant bookings success against targets, preferably on multi-million pound deals and be familiar with Sales CRM tools. They will be expected to be able to operate at all levels and particularly with C level leads to develop new business. What you need to know: The role will include significant travel, particularly around Europe and the UK.
