Role: School based Learning and Behavioural Support Location: Liverpool Hours: 8.30-3.30 Monday to Friday I am working with a school based within the Knowsley Local Authority who require additional support within the school day to provide 1:1 and small group support. Your role will place you within a small school based setting that caters for 11-16 year old pupils who are no longer in mainstream education. These pupils have difficulty managing their own emotional and mental health which requires your support, professional and life experience which gives them the additional help they need to successfully complete their education. This job opportunity lends itself extremely well to candidates who come from the following backgrounds: * Mental Health * Support Worker * Youth Worker * Drug and Alcohol support worker This role is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are looking to step out of a support worker capacity and would like to explore a career in Education. Working within education is incredibly rewarding and your opinions, skills and experience are continually supported and drawn upon. Previous experience dealing with challenging behaviour is essential and restraint training is beneficial as Team Teach training is provided by CER.
