Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 DOE Plus Good Benefits

This role will involve travel so a driving licence would be advantageous and overnight stays will be a part of your responsibilities

Our client is a fantastic legal expenses insurer in the Bristol area. We are recruiting for a Claims Auditor for their successful and growing Claims Department.

The Claims Auditor is primarily responsible for monitoring the performance of our panel firms, ATE solicitor network and other outsourced claims service providers. This is achieved through the implementation of a robust onsite audit schedule and a level of remote statistical analysis. In doing so, the Claims Auditor will identify any potential for a partner to fail in their service delivery, thus protecting our client’s ability to maintain our high standards of cost-effective customer service.

Responsibilities:

Conducting regular desktop & on site audits of all outsourced claims service providers to identify any failures in their performance against the SLA in force

Conducting regular desktop & on site audits of all panel providers and ATE solicitors to identify any failures in their performance against the Terms of Business Agreement in place

Using systematic data capture & statistical analysis to monitor the performance of panel firms & outsourced claims service providers

Lead the regular call for case updates from solicitors on all ongoing ATE cases highlighting any concerns in respect of their actions against TOBA &/or SLAs

Plan & prioritise own work to meet company service standards

Take responsibility for own learning needs & objectives

Work closely with colleagues to progress knowledge & skills base

Complete or oversee team & departmental reporting requirements

Skills:

You will need both ATE and BTE claims experience

Good level of education (min. 3 A Levels Grade C+ or equivalent)

Experience of either Legal Expenses Insurance &/or exposure to legal claims handling

Evidence of strong insurance technical knowledge

Good working knowledge of MS Office applications

Good numeracy & literacy skills

CII qualified or working towards

Graduate in a relevant discipline (e.g. law)
