CS 17316 Project Engineer - Automation/Conveyors/Materials Handling £30,000 - £38,000 + Overtime Alecto Recruitment is looking to speak to experienced Project Engineers who have worked in process environments including automation, waste water, waste management or manufacturer to join our client based in the Oxfordshire area. As an office-based Project Engineer, the successful applicant will be required to manage site projects from initial site survey through to completion. Role Duties * Use AutoCAD and AutoDESK Inventor experience to produce technical layout, production and manufacturing drawings to BIM standards. * Runs all contracts and duties as delegated by the Line Manager on a day to day basis * Ensure profit, quality and contractual deadlines are met. * Use company standard designs and practices to implement solutions. * Produce general arrangement drawings from 3D model for approval, which incorporate laid down standards of operability, maintainability and Health and Safety. * Preparation of manufacturing drawings for both standard items and one - off fabrications. * Manage and run a number of projects of varying sizes and complexities at the same time. * Produce method statements and collate risk assessments and other documentation applicable to the task for approval by client. * Organise and supervise safe and effective on-site services where appropriate. * Produce operation and maintenance manuals and record drawings. * Travel expected within the UK to customer and remote sites as necessary. Applicant Profile * HNC or above in a relevant engineering subject. (Suitable vocational qualifications may be a suitable alternative.) * Experience as a cad designer and contracts engineer within an engineering company, particularly related to automation or process engineering. * Must have competent word and excel skills with a good working knowledge of AutoCAD. AutoDESK Inventor is essential. * Some electrical engineering skills would be desirable. * Clean full UK driving licence essential.
