Field Debt Analyst Salary: £23,373 - £33,391 Location: Nottingham Right now we’re looking for a talented programmer to join our Debt Analysis team. Working with two other analysts, it will be up to you to assess our current manual debt management processes and look for viable automated alternatives. The Debt Analysis team deciphers vital business requirements and works with Regional Managers and the operational field team, gathering performance insights and field agent information. You and the other analysts will then use this information to design and deliver effective automated solutions – generally using VBA programming in Excel/Access or both. You’ll ensure the solutions you produce are – like all our work – centred around what’s best for our customers. It will also be up to you to maintain a range of Management Information databases and use them to produce detailed and accurate reports on a regular basis. You’ll generally use SQL-based scripts for this, and it goes without saying that you’ll review our current scripts, looking for opportunities to improve performance wherever possible. Qualifications Essential skill requirements: ·Intermediate VBA programming skills in Microsoft Access and Excel, as well as proven experience working in a programming department. ·Intermediate SQL mining skills. ·A demonstrable appreciation of the need for accuracy and thoroughness. ·Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all business levels. ·The ability to maintain a strong customer focus when looking at any system enhancement or process change. Desirable skills: ·Proven experience of effectively implementing IT or small business changes. ·A basic knowledge of credit management processes, with an in-depth understanding of Field Debt Solutions.
