We are recruiting for a qualified and experienced SENCO with experience with Autism and practical-working knowledge of the SEN curriculum? The SENCO Person Specification This vacancy is designed for an empathetic SEN professional, and ideally someone who has experienced responsibility or leadership roles in prior schools! You should have the empathetic skills and calm character that will enable you to find common ground with distressed or upset parents This SENCO position will see you take on responsibility for SEN learning throughout the school, and you will be working alongside and building a dynamic team who can keep a record of statement levels whilst providing full child and family support across the school. Provide SEN students with an effective IEP, and liaise regularly with the SLT to ensure that everything is being done to include and support children with differing abilities and behaviours.
