Salary Details: Competitive To oversee the implementation and management of a portfolio management approach, for the IT function, which develops the the Portfolio of IT Projects in line with agreed business strategic themes and objectives, maximises the return on investment for Greencore Group and continuously becomes more effective and efficient Package description competitive Main responsibilities Monitor and assess all proposed and planned business and IT change work stream activity to facilitate the effective deployment of resources. Plan, direct and co-ordinate activities and resources to manage the delivery of the Portfolio of all IT Projects from requirements stage through to Go-Live and Closedown Define and implement a demand and supply management methodology and framework for working with the Functional IT Directors to effectively capture, prioritise and plan the execution of the Portfolio of UK IT Projects. Provide accurate, timely Capex reporting in line with IT Finance requirements & timescales to ensure that all spend is controlled and mitigation for variances effectively deployed Model, forecast and proactively monitor the resource capacity required to deliver the current portfolio of projects to inform future planning and prioritisation decisions Lead the continuous improvement programme for the Portfolio Management function to improve the capability of the team and associated process and reports Lead and develop the team of Senior and Junior Project Managers so that the team delivers sustainable results because each employees is engaged, focused and delivering to their potential Ideal candidate Demonstrable experience of managing teams of Project Managers to deliver successfully against challenging timelines within a fast-paced client environment. Skilled in developing influential relationships with internal and external customers/suppliers/partners at senior management level. Experience of successfully embedding Portfolio Management and Agile Development disciplines within a more traditional (waterfall) IT Environment. Experienced in the deployment and use of Agile Development technologies and techniques (Jira/VersionOne etc.) Ability to communicate effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences Strong background of working within a robust IT methodology/best practice (IVI, COBIT, Prince2, ITIL)
