Skills and Knowledge Requirements * Sage literate (Sage 50 Accounts Plus) * Payroll * Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and outlook. (Full computer literate skills) * Excellent command of English both written and spoken. * Good customer liaising skills. * Strict adherence to confidentiality policy and company policy. * Minimum of 2 years working in busy accounts department. Sales Invoices * Prepare and raise invoices for all clients in a timely manner: * Local authorities * CHC and NHS Trusts. * Private Sector * Check Sales Ledgers including Provider returns and Remittance advices. * Deal with amendments/credit notes and note reasons why. Debtors Liaise with local authorities to ensure prompt payments are received. Keep in close communication and keep active logs and records of conversations had, so that follow up calls can be made in order to maintain up to date payments. Bank Account * Pay off amounts received either by check or directly into the bank. * Maintain accurate book-keeping ledgers. Factoring/Commercial Bank * Have a good understanding of factoring account, and liaise with account managers to help reconcile payments and input new invoices in a timely manner. * Deal with any queries arising and reconcile with Sage. Creditors * Make payments to creditors and entre suppliers invoices on sage and file once paid. * Keep accurate ledgers to ensure company maintains good credit control. * Work closely with Accountant firm and office administrator to ensure effective figures are compiled for company payroll and mileage payments
