Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk

Part Time - Flexible
Temporary (3 months)

£8 - £9 per hour

The Role
Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk required for a very busy department, the role involves accurate entry of purchase orders and matching of supplier invoices into the system, you will also be required to perform regular reconciliations of purchase ledger to supplier statements.

Main duties will include:

  • Day to day running of the purchase and sales ledger
  • Inputting Bank Credit Transactions
  • Sending out invoices via email and post
  • Processing sales credit notes
  • Resolving queries via email and telephone
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Other administration tasks

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Knowledge of sales and purchase ledger
  • Good numeracy and IT skills, including Excel
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • An enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication skills
