My global IT mobility client based in Chippenham are looking to add to their successful team with an additional business development manager. You will have a primary focus on New Business but will also further develop a strategic relationship with existing accounts, for the sale and supply of enterprise mobility products, services and solutions. You will have access to a rapidly expanding portfolio of wireless infrastructure, mobile device, data capture, print and print media components, alongside a range of managed services and leading industry application software Key Accountabilities: Demand generation and business development activities in nominated verticals and accounts Consultative and value-based solution propositions. Maximising the revenue and associated margin attainment from sales in to the target accounts Ownership of customer quotations, tender documents and effective electronic communication to target accounts Complete and accurate forecast information reflecting current and potential opportunities Effective planning and communication across various groups and functional teams, both inside and outside the business Maintain industry, product and solution awareness Other Duties: Management of customer relationship management (CRM) data base Business development & client research Accurate forecasting of sales Marketing Activities Knowledge and Experience: Proven track record of B to B ‘technical’ sales, preferably SME corporate accounts. Preferred experience of selling mobility solutions & managed services (advantageous but not essential) Experience in selling third party maintenance and related value-added services particularly in areas such as networking, telecommunications, computers, complex office equipment or peripherals Excellent organisational skills and the ability to understand detailed information. Computer literate & a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of CRM Experience of selling opex solutions. Please send me your CV for immediate consideration
