Shorterm Group are currently recruiting the following: JOB TITLE: MMS Data Clerk / Administrator / Data Inputter JOB LOCATION: Old Oak Common, North West London & Ilford, East London SALARY: £12.00 SHIFTS: Monday - Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm HOURS PER WEEK: 40 hours a week DURATION: CONTRACT - 12 months START DATE: ASAP Position Summary: We currently have a vacancy for a MMS Data Clerk. The main remit of this role is to ensure vehicle data input from work orders onto the Maximo system is carried out correctly, where necessary raising and closing out the work orders as appropriate. Duties will include: Working in a busy environment, other duties will include data collation, filing and archiving of closed out work orders. Priorities outstanding work and ensure all safety critical work orders are completed prior to trains entering service. Running reports from Maximo to support the management team of all work outstanding on each train on the depot. Component control tasks will need to be completed on work order completion when critical component parts are changed, updating and monitoring configuration control of LOTRAIN fleet components. Knowledge of all ancillary IT packages required to provide Supervisors with correct revision of instruction and result sheets required to complete maintenance tasks. Examples being but not limited to. Trainmate and Engineering Folders. To ensure special/ fleet checks status are highlighted to the management team. Ensure all instructions and relevant information is communicated effectively to the planning coordinator and service delivery team. Ensure all safety critical work is recorded on Maximo, bought to the attention of the service delivery team and closed out before the train enters traffic. Ensure all data relating to fleet maintenance is compete, unambiguous and accurate before Maximo is updated. Ensure all instructions and relevant information is communicated effectively to the oncoming shift. Ensure hard copies of all associated work carried out on vehicles are filed and stored appropriately and archived on a regular basis, in a system to enable easy retrieval. Prioritise workload to ensure that all work completed is recorded onto the MMS system prior to departure of Train from Depot. We are seeking self-motivated individuals who are computer literate, able to work as part of a team or on their own initiative. You will need well developed keyboard skills, with the ability to input data at speed, which would be distinct advantage! Former knowledge of the Maximo system would be preferred, however full training will be given to the successful candidates. Qualifications: A recognised Engineering apprenticeship would be preferred. Completion of a recognised apprenticeship Educated to high standard in an engineering discipline, (i.e. HND/HNC). Technical Understanding of Rolling Stock or Rail Vehicle advantageous Competent in excel/word software packages Good organisational and communication skills Previous experience of maintaining Rolling Stock The ability to prioritise tasks The ability to work within tight deadlines and targets Excellent team working capability Experience required: Hands on skills as well as technical capabilities. Excellent communications skills - capable of dealing with all levels of the organization and Customers. Must be an effective team player, with the ability to work individually. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines. Maximo experience would be an advantage. Will require very strong IT skills and the ability to interpret and act upon available data. Must be strong in MS Office packages and ideally have experience in SAP.
