As UK Hire Marketing Manager, you will be the champion for the hire business division. Working closely with the UK Hire Operations Director, you will use your entrepreneurial flair and B2B direct and digital marketing expertise to develop hire specific marketing propositions, create and execute the hire marketing strategy, marketing activity plan and activities across all direct and digital marketing channels. You will have a desire to understand a technical product proposition across a vast product portfolio and truly understand the pain points and needs of various customer segments through ongoing research. Your strong planning and organisational skills will ensure that you’re prepared to be agile – working closely with the sales team to drive specific product leads in-line with seasonal demand and stock availability. With your excellent communication skills, you will thrive working as part of a team, as well as individually and be happy to communicate across all areas of the business as necessary to complete tasks efficiently. Your entrepreneurial, passionate spirit will enable you to share your ideas and experience where relevant, division and group wide. You will bring strong digital marketing experience to the marketing team to help grow the UK business, division wide. You will report to the Head of UK Marketing to deliver the UK Hire marketing KPIs whilst being accountable to the UK Hire Operations Director. Key Responsibilities: - Own the marketing strategy and plan for the hire division - Liaise with the Hire Operations Director to develop the proposition, strategy and ensure the marketing plan is delivering KPIs - Monthly marketing activity report against KPIs and project status - Budget management - PPC campaign management, development and reporting - SEO management, development and reporting - Social Media management, development and reporting - Creation of email marketing copy and direct mail campaigns - Creation and management of direct mail campaigns - Creation of on and offline ads - Management and creation of website copy, case studies and blog posts for UK hire division - Liaise with internal and external creatives to develop marketing content - Nurture campaign and customer communication development - Support the sales team with exhibition activities - Support Regional Sales Managers with business development activities - Competitor analysis - Build relationships with relevant industry bodies - Management of Trustpilot reviews - Visit customers for market intelligence, research, proposition development and case studies - Contribute to any and all group marketing projects as required - Carry out general day to day marketing tasks - Carry out special projects as and when directed Key Skills & Expertise (This is not an exhaustive list but a guide only) - Minimum 3 years B2B Direct Marketing experience - Digital Marketing expertise in SEO, PPC, email, social media and content marketing - Proficient with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools - Experience with Marketing Automation software - Relevant marketing qualification, ideally IDM - Familiar with Wordpress - Research, numerical and data analysis skills - Effective communication and influencing skills - Product marketing experience would be beneficial - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be beneficial - Experience in Manufacturing and HVAC sectors would be beneficial
