Title. Business Development Executive (individual contributor role) Location. Preferably office based in Cheltenham however this may be subject to agreement for an exceptional candidate. Package. Base Salary plus monthly performance based commission paid against KPI’s around identified BANT qualified leads plus Invoiced new business. Base Salary - £30,000 - £38,000 dependent upon experience On Target Commission – £8,000 Pension contribution (details to be confirmed in Q1 2018) Company background Our client are a UK based, cyber security start-up business based in Cheltenham. The company began trading in early 2017 following a period of product development and has achieved good early market traction having closed contracts with a number of high profile local and global organisation including Office Depot. The business has secured significant private equity investment in support of an aggressive ramp up plan for 2018 and 2019. The business currently employs approximately 9 people in the UK and a further 10 within the development team. The company is offering is a cloud based, real time securing monitoring service, supported by their internal 24*7*365 SOC and built entirely using their own next gen machine learning/SIEM IP. The Role Following significant capital investment secured in late 2017, the company plans to grow the UK business aggressively through 2018. Working alongside the current sales leadership team, the Business Development executive will be a key strategic role for a highly motivated, driven individual tasked with identifying & developing new BANT qualified opportunities within the UK commercial mid-market space (primarily) for the companies security monitoring service . The company defines mid-market as organisations that have between 500 – 2,500 active users. Primary markets will be Financial Services, Retail, Business Services, Telco. Depending upon the revenue potential of identified leads/opportunities the BDE will either assign over to the field sales team or progress the opportunity to Close either directly of via selected Channel partners. Where appropriate the BDE will call upon support from pre-sales experts for client calls and demos etc. The BDE will need to use their own initiative in order to source leads however this will be supported by current marketing activity as well as the contact networks of the existing Invinsec team and tools such as Linkedin Navigator. The company also plans to invest in Pipedrive CRM system. The role will necessitate the ability to process high call volumes as well as highly targeted and researched calls.
