Sales Executive Training Provider

Stretford, Manchester Office / Field based (own car essential)

Salary c£20,000 Basic plus bonus of c£16,000 or more

The hours of work are 40 hours per week. There will be some evening and weekend commitments, time off in lieu will be given by arrangement.

They offer training in apprenticeships, accredited training, vocational programmes, short courses, bespoke training and consultancy. The main purpose of the role is to improve the training provider’s market position and achieve financial growth. To identify and create business opportunities. To negotiate and close business deals.

Sales and New Business Development

· Prospect for new and potential clients and turn this into increased business.

· Network, cold calling, develop and identify other means of generating interest from potential clients.

· Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients and funders.

· Research and build relationships with new clients.

· Participate in pricing the solution/service.

· Identify and grow in areas.

Client Retention

· Present new products/services and enhance existing relationships.

· Work with internal teams and tutors to meet customer needs.

Business Development Planning

· Attend events such as training, briefing meetings and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

· Present to and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products and distribution channels.

· Use knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Management and Research

· Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.

· Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM system.

· Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.

Education and Experience

Educated to a degree level or equivalent. Proven track record of business development and achieving targets. Customer service experience. Understanding of publicly funding training polices to identify eligible clients (e.g. SFA, ESF).
