An established and fast growing Law Firm in East London is looking to recruit a multilingual junior claims investigator and a senior claims investigator who can work on initiative with fantastic written and verbal communication skills. In return we will provide training, support and knowledge to help you maintain and deliver excellent service to our customers. An ideal candidate would preferably have previous personal industry experience although this is not necessary as we provide full training. Job Purpose: You who will be responsible for dealing with and be an interface for the clients and third parties and will be expected to undertake a multitude of varying tasks in helping the company run smoothly. Duties and Responsibilities: • To visit potential clients and existing clients to take initial details of the claim and all relevant documents and evidence and to take further instructions from existing clients. • To provide initial advice to clients and manage their expectations of the claim. • To investigate and assess both liability and quantum, adhering to the best practises. • To identify, assess and escalate possible fraud issues. • To deliver or pick up documents from client’s and or third parties. • Build and maintain an excellent relationship with clients, colleagues and third parties. Skills & Experience: Essential • Ability to manage their time and workload, prioritising important and time sensitive issues. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Lithuanian and or Russian. • Excellent personable skills • A clean full UK driving licence. Desirable • A good understanding of the Road Traffic Act and how it applies to motor incidents and liability in the UK. • A good understanding of civil liability and the investigation of liability and negligence. • A knowledge and understanding of credit-hire. • A knowledge and understanding of the MOJ Portal bodily injury process and the CPR bodily injury process and timescales. • Able to assess quantum and liability. Qualifications: • Educated to Degree Level or equivalent ideally in Law / Insurance Salary - £20-25K Dependent on experience
