JDS Recruitment are currently working with a Secondary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Newham who are looking for an LSA specialising in EBD/SEMH. The position will be based within the Key Stage 3 & 4 section of the unit in a small class supporting students with Emotional & Behavioural Disorders and Social, Emotional & Mental Health problems. This role will commence after the February half term and will continue to July 2018. To be eligible to apply for this position, you must have experience working with children with EBD/SEMH. You will must also be able to work full school hours 5 days per week. About the Role • Learning Support Assistant • Support pupils aged 11-16 for whom mainstream education for a range of reasons is not possible or is not working well • Previous experience of supporting learners with Social, Emotional and Behaviour difficulties. • Salary (depending on experience) • Start after the Feb HT - Long Term If this is the Learning Support Assistant role that you are looking for, then please do contact JDS with a copy of your CV.
