Taskmaster in Huddersfield are looking for a highly experienced Digital Marketing officer with extensive Social Media experience for a 12 week contract at the University of Huddersfield. The working hours are Monday to Wednesday every week, 7.5hrs per day. The role has a specific focus on managing our social media content and campaigns and so we are looking for a person with strong experience in written comms. FULL DETAILS: The role of Digital Marketing Officer reports to the Marketing Manager and its main objectives are: · To assist in the implementation and delivery of the University’s marketing and communications plan · To play an integral role in the development and delivery of the University’s social media strategy and implementation · To ensure that the University’s marketing communications are on brand and to the highest standard. Main Duties and Responsibilities: 1.To develop and manage the University’s presence on appropriate social media channels in order to raise awareness and reputation of the University. 2.To develop engaging customer-focussed content for a variety of social media channels and audiences in order to maximise followers and engagement. 3.To develop organic and paid social media campaigns that support student recruitment objectives. 4.To monitor and report on competitor social media marketing activity and advise on new developments in social media marketing. 5.To monitor social media activity for University accounts and respond/liaise with colleagues as appropriate. 6.To brief and coordinate external agencies to produce high quality film content and other creative assets that support social media and other digital channels. 7.To work closely with colleagues from Marketing and PR to ensure a joined up approach to social media communications and student recruitment campaigns. 8.To provide advice, guidance and training to University colleagues on best practice social media marketing and film content development 9.To support and participate in student recruitment events as required (including some evening and weekend working) 10.To undertake other tasks commensurate with the role as required by the Marketing Manager and Deputy Head of Marketing
