The role as Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new & current business relationships across the UK & Ireland.

Client Details

My client are an Internationally recognised manufacturer and distributor of a range of nutritional supplements. Through a diverse set of branded products & a team of experts behind them, the business are looking to further extend growth opportunities with the addition of a Business Development Manager to drive new and current relationships across the UK & Ireland.


As Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will take on the following roles & responsibilities;

  • Identify, convert & extend business relationships across the desired area(s)
  • Manage your own diary, set up meetings and pitch to gain new business
  • Maintain & develop excellent relationships with key accounts & wholesalers
  • Support internal teams & external partnerships to ensure new listings, distribution & profitability
  • Co-ordinate and drive new product development initiatives
  • Attend networking events, trade shows & be the face of the business across the UK
  • Have a 'can do' attitude and become adaptable in providing solutions to key customers


The successful Business Development Manager will have the following profile;

  • Minimum 3 years field sales experience within FMCG
  • Knowledge of the Nutrition & Health Supplements market
  • Experience selling into the wholesale & independant retail markets would be advantageous
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Excellent communicator with a passion for career development
  • Ability to travel across the UK & Ireland
  • Ideally commutable to the North West England on a weekly basis

Job Offer

Basic Salary - £40,000 - £45,000
