CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Receptionist to join the team located in Epsom. The successful candidate provide first-rate customer service, using initiative, excellent communication skills and prompt action in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the client site. Role Summary: • Be efficient in the operation of the switchboard / telephone service • Handle external and internal calls professionally • Take and relay messages efficiently • Be familiar with staff extensions and the location / services provided by the various client offices in order to enable the provision of an efficient service • Provide a prompt and courteous service at all times • Maintain confidentiality • Ensure cleanliness of work area at all times • Maintain an inventory of office supplies. • Perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, receiving and sending email, photocopying, collating reports and other documents • Deputise on main reception as requested • Send messages using the internal messaging system • Update databases within your area as required • Be aware of all standard operating procedures regarding Health & Safety at work • Complete any required training • Ability to remain calm under pressure, use initiative and manage changing priorities as they arise • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with diverse groups of people • Ability to work as a reliable, efficient and flexible member of the team thereby contributing to team success Experience Required: • Experience in a telecommunications or customer facing role • Good standard of education – A levels or equivalent • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Great attention to detail • Experience of complaint handling • Excellent time-keeping • Ability to work accurately, under pressure and adhering to tight deadlines • Able to work on own initiative • Good IT skills - Word, Excel, MS Outlook • Strong Customer Service skills • Interpersonal skills • Problem solving skills • Ability to remain calm under pressure, use initiative and manage changing priorities as they arise • Flexibility to work across the department and provide cover as required • Awareness of all standard operating procedures regarding Health & Safety at work About CBRE Global Workplace Solutions: As one of the business units in CBRE, Global Workplace Solutions provides end-to-end services across the complete lifecycle of the workplace, helping to improve business operations and reduce cost.
