Maintenance Systems Coordinator (Food/FMCG) Salary: Circa £28,000 + Excellent Benefits Location: Hitchen, Hersfordshire Ref: 28 Are you my client’s essential missing ingredient?! A seriously good Maintenance Systems Coordinator opportunity has arisen within my client’s business. They’re a leading food products manufacturer, with a presence on all continents of the world. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager the Maintenance Systems Coordinator will primarily focus on: The administration and ongoing development of the Engineering Department’s Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS); The organisation of the Engineering Stores and purchasing of spares, materials and consumables; The administration of Engineering Department Systems, reports, records and communication. Secondary to the above, you will work with the Maintenance Supervisor in the planning and scheduling of reactive, proactive and planned maintenance work; Analyse and monitor data entered onto the CMMS System. You will input specific data onto the CMMS as required; Manage and maintain all Machine, Plant and Tool related; instruction manuals, parts lists, drawings, specifications, CE documentation etc. (both electronically and hard copy). Furthermore, you will administer purchasing and stock control systems being used within the Engineering Department; Support the Site Services Engineer in the control of contractors, maintaining records and developing and running service contracts; Support the Engineering Department with any administration, planning, organisation and communication that may be required. You will also interface with, induct and escort any customer representative, visitor, contractor, inspector or official when required. To be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years in a planning role within an Engineering Department utilising a well-known CMMS system, possessing either relevant engineering and/or an IT/Systems Admin qualification (ideally to degree level), however, experience could offset academic qualifications. You will have a proven experience in the organisation of ‘Engineering Stores’ and purchasing of spares, materials and consumables; A sound understanding of CMMS structures and implementation and used to working within a fast moving pressurised environment with exceptional organisational skills. You will have experience of producing electronic reports with above average IT skills (able to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook proficiently) and Good written, numeracy and analytical skills. You must be able to demonstrate initiative, decision making and self-motivation; Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation as well as offering flexibility within your role. This is planned to be a day’s based role (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday (7.30am to 4pm) however due to the business criticality of the role you will be expected to have a flexible attitude to getting the required work completed to suit the business’s priorities.
