Technical Solutions Manager - Cloud
About The Role
We are looking for a Technical Solutions Manager – Cloud to deliver technical solutions across multiple disciplines, contributing to and aligning with architectural strategy to deliver to project or programme timescales. You will be accountable for the design, build and implementation of technical solutions to meet Business requirements and IT Infrastructure roadmaps.
You will have solid technical background that has led you to be trained and experienced with Cloud environments and Services. As an advocate of Cloud technology you will bring focus and management to delivery of great new Cloud solutions. Team management will be a core part of your experience with the ability to coach and develop individuals, and you have the drive to motivate a new team of Cloud engineers to utilise automation to deliver great products and transition them to the support teams.
Ensure compliance with policies, processes and standards and delivery is to the desired timescales. Manage the key stakeholder expectations by owning the risks and issues associated with their projects, ensuring these are reported and resolved in a timely manner.

Cloud / Automation, Monitoring and Alerting
- Office 365
- Server OS platforms (MS/Linux)
- Awareness of Virtualisation technologies for server and client technologies
- Knowledge of systems management procedures in a large commercial, mission-critical environment.
- Capacity planning, performance tuning, proactive monitoring.
- Change control, release procedures and tools.
- ITIL based service management framework
- Powershell scripting
- Knowledge of SAN hardware (NetApp, IBM)
- Knowledge of networking technologies
- Server hardware knowledge
