We have a fantastic opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic Brand Executive to join a fast paced and thriving Global Brand Team. As Emerald's Brand Executive you will assist the Head of Brand in the implementation of brand strategy. You will also be responsible for overseeing the production of global and local marketing material for Emerald's brand, products and services across all market sectors, to meet business requirements. You will work with all areas of the business to deliver impactful collateral and brand building activities to enhance Emerald's reputation & standing as a challenger brand. *Occasional travel may be required* Key Responsibilities: * Assist in ensuring brand compliance across the business * Support key conferences * Coordinate the management and production of conference material * Work with the Graphics Manager to develop insightful briefs * Actively gather and share competitor activity & insights * Provide reporting on key brand KPIs in conjunction with the Insight team * Contribute to the ongoing review and update of Emerald's global brand guidelines * Assist the Brand Manager in developing key campaigns * Work with Publishing and the Books sales and marketing teams * Sign off & proof checking of brand outputs within the team * Build positive personal and organizational relationships with key stakeholders around the business * Build good working relationships with other members of the Marketing team, Insight teams and all areas Brand Executive | Brand Strategy | Brand Compliance | Copywriting | Content Writing | Publishing | Marketing Essential Requirements: Role Specific Competencies: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Good planning and organisational skills, in an agile environment * A minimum of English language GCSE * Good copywriting skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to create copy that is appropriate for target audiences/personas * Ability to persuade and influence others, with good presentation skills * Good knowledge of marketing communications channels & media opportunities * An excellent understanding of print and production * Comfortable conducting basic research/information gathering activity * A team player with the ability to work on own initiative * Ability to be calm under pressure and hit deadlines * Shows a commitment to their own continuing development * Ability to quickly establish credibility with key influencers * Taking direction from line manager and translating this into actions/plans * Pro-actively input into meetings Desirable Requirements: * Ideally experience of brand management/ brand projects would be preferred * Any relevant business/marketing qualification e.g. CIM, IDM or related degree would be an advantage About Our Company: Nurturing fresh thinking that makes an impact Emerald Publishing was founded in 1967 to champion new ideas that would advance the research and practice of business and management.
