Human Capital Ventures is a Leading Provider of Recruitment, Staffing & Talent Management to the IT and Digital Sectors, and is proud to be supporting a FTSE-250 eCommerce Business with an award winning multi-channel eCommerce Platform in the recruitment of Software Development Team Leader, located from their European Headquarters in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. Whilst providing support and guidance across the Full Software Development lifecycle (requirements analysis to delivery), working to agile methodologies such as SCRUM and KANBAN, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily duties of the Development Team, and acting as a direct report for a number of Software & Senior developers, ensuring that they continue to deliver software that meets the required development standards. Responsibilities: Perform line-management duties for members of staff assigned to you. Provide regular 1 to 1 meetings, half year and annual reviews to all developers assigned to you. A part of your role will be to understand business requirements (user stories) and help the development team successfully deliver a technical solution which meets the requirement. Help define Development best practices, standards and quality guidelines Define and ensure the adherence to quality guidelines and follow testing approaches such as unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) to ensure a ‘right first time’ delivery of software. Collaborate with the wider scrum team and scrum master to ensure a correct and working solution is delivered every time. Ensure the adherence to security guidelines to protect company and customer data, including PCI Compliance. Ensure all team members follow all relevant legal requirements Requirements An understanding of SOLID Principles of software development and purpose and application of software patterns. An understanding of full stack software development Proficiency in: C# .NET, MVC, RESTFUL WEB API (or equivalent technologies), HTML, CSS AND JavaScript, SQL Server (TSQL), Unit Testing An understanding of IOC and dependency injection strategies as well as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery strategies. Our client is offering a basic salary dependent on the experience of up to £62,000 per annum with an annual bonus scheme of up to 30%, annual company share allocations, private medical, 25 days’ holiday and 35-hour working week!
