IQE PLC is a leading global supplier of advanced semiconductor materials. It has over 50% share in the global market for advanced mobile communications materials, and is rapidly growing in its other markets which include photonics, high efficiency solar power generation, advanced infra-red, power switching and LEDs. The company is growing fast globally, and is in the process of building a high volume production facility in the UK. Coupled to this, IQE has grown by acquisition and as the business moves towards significant growth, there is a real need to simplify systems, processes and data management. We now need to recruit a senior Process Analyst. Reporting into the Global Continuous Improvement Manager, the Process Analyst plays a central role within the current lean and CI team. Your job will be to work cross functionally across the business from sales to product delivery and aftercare and all business streams, mapping out processes, eliminating waste, interrogating existing IT systems and databases and creating high level functional dashboards to present KPIs, data and management intelligence. Other key responsibilities will include: Analyse IQE’s business flow, from customer enquiry to product despatch, identifying areas of best practice. By working closely with functional leads, define detailed specifications for the ERP modules. Primary communication to act as the link between the stakeholders, process owners and the software development team to create an efficient and bespoke business system. Coordinate and project manage the roll-out of systems around the IQE group worldwide. Drive continuous improvement through the identification of process improvements and seeing through to implementation. We are looking for candidates educated to degree calibre in an engineering or scientific discipline. This will suit proven lean, continuous improvement and process analyst professionals, with a background in production, engineering and manufacturing. You have highly developed IT and Microsoft Office skills, and you are able to showcase the creation and manipulation of systems and dashboards that allow senior management colleagues to understand the business across functions, site and geographies.
