What does the Partner Manager role involve?
At Worldpay we partner with companies and organisations which are central to the vertical ecosystems in which we operate. We collaborate with those partners to deliver best-in-class products and services to our customers, with the aim of generating new business and enabling customer growth as they expand into new markets for face to face processing. Examples include EPOS providers Cegid and LS Retail who we partner with, along with Omni channel solutions such as APTOS. In this role you will manage and develop a portfolio of strategic partners, alongside identifying and delivering new partnerships with leading technology businesses.
The role involves a degree of businesses development, relationship management, project management, product ownership as well as technical and operational competence. You will be collaborating with internal teams on building out the capabilities of our partners, as we expand our omni channel proposition into new markets in addition to recruiting new partners. You will be working with C-level business leaders to promote the Worldpay value proposition and underline the benefit of a joint partner proposition. This is a broad role which will allow you to touch upon many areas or both Worldpay and the wider industry. In this role you will work with commercial teams and partners initially across EMEA, but as we grow the proposition and partnership portfolio, this will be global. You will deliver impactful workshops, exhibits and conferences as well as lead partner training sessions both internally and externally. As part of the Growth team, you will also work closely with the central Product, Strategy and Marketing functions alongside other colleagues from various functions and levels within the organization. You will report into the Vice President of Retail.

What will make you the ideal candidate?
The role requires business maturity, pro-activity, and an ability to develop, lead and execute complex initiatives. You are a confident communicator and networker, with good influencing skills. You have been central to commercially focused projects and are comfortable making choices and assessing trade-offs. You are a natural collaborator with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships both internally and externally. Ideally you have a level of commercial experience whether that be through account management, business development or supplier management (preferred but not essential).
