Prospero Teaching are working alongside Special Educational Needs schools in Enfield, North London, looking for Special Educational Needs Teachers to fill roles starting immediately and in the near future.

Experience in Special Educational Needs schools is desirable but not essential. Some of the schools we work with are open to taking on strong Teachers looking to make the change into Special Educational Needs Education, provided the right attitude is there.

If you feel you have the skills necessary to appropriately differentiate to the needs of each individual student, manage sometimes challenging behaviour and provide the extra support these students need, then please read on!

About the schools...

* Caters for primary, secondary and post-16 age students
* Students have statements for a variety of needs, including Learning Difficulties (Moderate - Profound and Multiple), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and others
* Some schools provide for non-verbal students
* Some schools have students with physical disabilities and complex medical difficulties
* All schools have highly specialist equipment to aid students' learning
* All schools employ a range of therapists (such as occupational, drama and play therapists) to help students' growth

About the roles...

* Class Teachers to start immediately and in the near future
* Needs of students might range from Moderate to Severe or Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties
* Full responsibilities of the Class Teacher, including planning, marking and feedback and attending Parents' Evenings
* Directing expert Special Educational Needs support staff
