A very valued client of mine situated near the heart of Watford is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team in Head Office on a contract basis for 6 months.

This opportunity may become a permanent position should the opportunity arise.

You will be responsible for the following;

1. Invoice authorisation, checking, coding, processing & scanning of all Supplier invoices
2. Process Supplier payments via BACS, CHAPPS, & Cheque
3. Coding and Processing of all Sales invoices and allocate BACS, cheque & cash receipts
4. Credit Control
5. Identify and resolve all Debtor & Creditor account discrepancies
6. Reconciliation of Supplier statements quarterly and at Year End
7. Maintain Aged Debtors and Creditors monthly
8. Assist with weekly reporting of Freedom to Turnover
9. Processing, allocation and reconciliation of Branch receipts and resolution of queries.
10. Reconciliation of Intercompany Debtor/Creditor balances.
11. Reconcile Bank Accounts at month end
12. Provide copy invoices for Accruals, Prepayments, intercompany and Fixed Assets at month end
13. Process Journals for corrections, bank and intercompany
14. Assist with Payroll as and when required
15. Filing.
16. Any other Ad Hoc duties as and when required

You should have the following;

- Experience in the same/similar role
- Available to start the role Week Commencing 15 January 2018
- Confident, outgoing, well presented, hard working and a team player.
