Information Analyst / Data Analyst / Data Administrator / Excel Administrator / initial 3 MONTHS / PETERBOROUGH / £15 – 24/HOUR

I am working with a public sector client in Peterborough who have a requirement for an MI analyst. Experience in working on HR systems such as RescourceLink would be beneficial to populate Excel dashboards and run reports using Cognos.


You will be required to;
- Assess the organisation’s information needs in respect to HR and Workforce and to inform the development of an information strategy to meet those needs
- Act as an expert resource for data analysis, interpretation and presentation, utilising spreadsheets, databases, and other analytical tools across a range of data sets.
- Run reports from the HR system (ResourceLink) using the Cognos reporting tool.
- Lead on information analysis for HR and Workforce taking responsibility for delivery of lead work area objectives
- Advise on research needs and methodology
- Provide technical advice around report specifications and development from key IT products

Skills required:
-Intermediary to Advanced Excel – pivot tables, conditional formatting and formulas
-Data Analysis
-Data Manipulation
-Report creation
- Excel Dashboard

Desirable
- Cognos
- ResourceLink

It would also be beneficial but by no means necessary if you have experience of working with Business Object SAP and data mapping / migration.
