Our client, a successful and well-respected financial services organisation, are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing of the brands, reputation, services and products to a mainly online audience, driving quality traffic to the websites using a variety of digital tools and developing customer journeys that maximise revenue from the sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop the online presence of the brands, building traffic to the websites and developing tools to engage potential buyers. This task will involve developing a SEO and Social Media strategy for the business
  • Build online customer journeys that allow the capture of customer data and maximise the opportunities for conversion to sales
  • Liaise with external suppliers and maintain business relationships with third parties as required to develop plans as outlined
  • Development of the online community
  • Coordination of social media
  • Responsibility for online profile
  • Responsibility for driving quality traffic to the company website using a range of tools
  • Monitor performance and analyse results
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of all products and services offered and assist with the implementation of new or enhanced products and services
  • Assist with the development of the customer database to enable effective communication, efficient data collection and reporting and compliance with data protection and other relevant legislation or codes of practice. Analyse data to identify sales opportunities and plan campaigns to key customer and prospect cells
  • Provide regular or ad-hoc reports and commentary to the CEO
  • Deal with general tasks and special projects that are customer/marketing related and undertake any other related tasks requested by senior Management

Skills and experience required:

  • A recognised relevant qualification e.g. CIM or Marketing Degree
  • A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
  • Excellent eye for detail with a right first-time attitude
  • The ability to effectively liaise at all levels
