Our client, a leading financial advice business are looking to recruit a Client Service Team Leader to lead a team of 10 on a full time, permanent basis.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide a high level of administrative support to a team of 5 Client Service Associates (administrators and client support) and 5 Paraplanners
  • Day to day running of the office including local recruitment, training, 1-2-1s and appraisals
  • Provide guidance and support to the team members as and when required
  • Monitor the quality of the work produced by the Client Service team by reviewing the output for each team member, including providing training and feedback where required
  • Monitor workloads across the team and re-assign where necessary
  • Process new business and issue the relevant policy documents/contract notes
  • Dealing with changes to policies, funds and client personal details
  • Maintaining accurate records of the client's financial situation
  • There would be very occasional travel, approximately one day per month

Key skills/experience

  • Very strong people skills and experience of developing and coaching small teams
  • Strong administration experience
  • Financial services experience, ideally within the IFA/wealth management space but not essential
  • Ideally some relevant qualifications such as FPC, DipFA or equivalent
  • Paraplanning exposure would be preferable but by no means essential
