Renfrewshire is a well estabslihed health and social care partnership and we are now looking to recruit to this important Head of Service position to bring on board a proven and important member of our Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) senior management team.

This post provides an excellent opportunity for someone with personal drive and resilience, strategic vision, influential and dynamic leadership abilities. They will also have proven operational management abilities to ensure the delivery of HSCP objectives and work effectively within and across our organisation and be a leader working with other HSCPs in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde system.

This role has responsibility for both the strategic development and operational delivery of health and social care services for adults with mental illness, learning disability and addictions. The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of services including and delivering on our wider HSCP strategic plan aims and objectives.

The post holder must have experience of working within and health and social care setting, and have proven experience in leading and developing a team of managers and clinicians, enabling and progressing partnership working, budget and performance management and planning and change management.

Applicants should be educated to Masters Degree level or equivalent and must be able to demonstrate integrity, effective leadership and management skills as well as evidence of successful delivery of service redesign, financial management and tackling inequalities. Highly developed skills in policy development, planning and evaluation techniques are essential as well as evidence of developing and managing effective partnerships and building key relationships.
