Job brief

Our client are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a sales environment. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making numerous calls per day, working within the team, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Salary £18 - £20K DOE

Hours - 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch)

25 days holiday


  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients to gain repeat business
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
  • Order raising and progressing
  • Dealing with operations department to prioritise customer orders to ensure deadlines are met
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Reactivating dormant accounts


  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialling dozens of calls per day
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
  • Successful experience of cold calling
  • Motivated and able to work in a team
  • Display strong customer focus and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Be Resourceful, proactive and enthusiastic
  • Have strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Be able to prioritise individual workloads and work under pressure
