Audio Visual/ IT Field Service Engineer

Basic Salary - £25,000 - £30, 000 Company Vehicle, Pension, 25 days Holiday

Candidates residing in the following locations would be ideally situated: Leamington Spa, Towcester, Banbury, Rugby, Coventry, Northampton, Redditch, Birmingham, Oxford

The ideal applicant will have either existing Field Service or Install experience, have a friendly and polite manner, be able to think methodically, problem solve, remain calm under pressure and knowledge of AV inc some if not all of the following:
• Crestron
• Tandberg/Cisco
• Polycom
• Audio
• Projection systems
• Meeting Room Booking Systems
• Large Format Display
• Digital Signage
• video conferencing
Our new Field service Engineer you will help our customers maintain the effective use of their audio-visual technologies, by minimising downtime through re-active, on-site service and maintenance, throughout the Midlands and London. To help deliver small installation / integration projects when required.
You would be responsible for the safe and correct diagnosis of faults, removal, repair, test, implementation and operation of all aspects of audio visual, video conference, display and presentation technologies

Provide readily available telephone support in answering technical questions for AV equipment and systems.
Responsible for ensuring that the equipment serviced is safe for use and that the quality of work carried out is of the highest standard.
Maintain accurate and current company and customer files.
Provide a courteous, comprehensive and assistive service for all clients and their representatives.
To work in compliance with the Company’s safety manual with safety of self and others in mind at all times.
Be proactive in suggesting new methods and techniques to improve efficiency.

Have a good underpinning technical knowledge of Electronics and Audio VisualSystems.
A full operational and technical knowledge of communications and audio visual systems is essential.
Strong customer-focus and understanding of the sensitivities of working on a client’s site.
IT / Network skills.
Possess a full, clean driving licence.
