Due to new business wins and continued business growth, this established brand experiences and creative agency is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support the development of client accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a background in managing accounts within an exhibition, events or marketing agency and have the ability to oversee project delivery. You will be the key point of contact for the client, responsible for ensuring excellent client service and communication. Working alongside the Account Director and with internal creative and production teams you’ll be ensuring the smooth operations across client accounts.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting senior account team members in the growth, development and day-to-day service of key client relationships
  • Developing a thorough understanding of a client’s business and strategy
  • Pro-actively generating new ideas and proposals that add value
  • Assisting in the response to new business opportunities
  • Providing status reports and assist with budget management
  • Interrogating and developing client briefs
  • Seeking out opportunities for business within existing clients
  • Providing on-site support when required
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer contact information
  • Working with your colleagues throughout entire process to ensure seamless project implementation

Skills required:

  • A degree and/or at least 1-2 years in an account management role essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good teamwork skills
  • Excellent communication skills and networking ability
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Adaptability
  • Good administration and planning skills
  • Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple clients
  • Confidence working in a client facing role
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
