The successful candidate must have an honours degree in psychology and a post graduate doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology. You will be registered with the HCPC as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist. The post holder will provide a psychology service to patients. You will provide systematic, autonomous and highly specialist psychological assessment and therapies to patients with a wide range of mental health and behavioural problems. The post holder will work within a multidisciplinary Psychological Therapies team (or equivalent) providing evidence-based treatments for individuals with moderate to severe psychological disorders. This will involve a mix of individual clinical work and involvement in the provision of couple, family and group interventions.
