Job Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and friendly IT Support Company based in West Yorkshire. This role will be split between challenging and improving the company’s internal operations, including managing any change. The second part will be to act as an IT manager for a small selection of our larger customers, one may require several days per week. This specific customer will require working with their management to overcome IT challenges, improve IT, and oversee/monitor service desk delivery at a high level. The right candidate will also take ownership of technical content that is used for any external communication.

Required Experience:

  • Stakeholder management
  • IT management and IT strategy
  • Understanding of Telco (SIP / ISDN2 / ISDN30 / Virtual numbers / PBX / Hosted)
  • Ability to reverse engineer remote offices (LAN / WAN / IT / Telco) with no documentation
  • 10 years’ experience in problem solving
  • Implementing new IT systems and coordinating external or internal resources to assist
  • Business operational experience
  • Working with vendors & distributers
  • Detailed network diagrams
  • Understanding of CapexVSOpex
  • Backup RPO, RTO and GFS capable of discussing confidently

Preferred Experience:

  • Advanced networking:


  • Data centre management
  • Hardware firewall and IPsec tunnels
  • Detailed knowledge of virtualisation design including hardware and software
  • Commercial and Financial experience


Must have some relevant vendor qualifications; Microsoft/Citrix/VMware
