I am currently seeking a skilled Health Care Compliance Specialist to join a global, world-leading pharmaceutical company at their site in Wokingham.

The successful Health Care Compliance Specialist with be educated to degree level and will have proven experience including an audit background, ideally within Compliance, though other backgrounds including Finance, Sales & Marketing, Medical Affairs, Legal, and Regulatory will be considered. Experience working in the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industries would be considered an advantage.

In your role as a Health Care Compliance Specialist you will be given the platform to showcase your skills as you work with the Health Care Compliance (HCC) Corporate team on a variety of support activities which may include, but is not limited to:

- Assisting in the organisation and implementation of the training on HCBI and HCC Local regulation.
- Maintaining employee certification and training attendance records.
- Serving as the first line of communication to the business for reviewing local requests and documentation.
- Assisting in the implementation of modifying regional global strategies into regional level, local level and sector level where needed, based on appropriate local needs, goals and objectives, taking into account local external regulatory trends and environment.
- Supporting the HCC operations group in implementation of education, training, and regular communications on HCC to all covered employees, including local sales, marketing, finance, HR, managers, supply chain and directors at a local level.
- Supporting the HCC Officer and HCC Specialist in self-assessment and risk assessment processes to detect process gaps and inconsistencies.
- Assisting the HCC Officer and HCC Specialist in the implementation of and following up on the Management Action Plan as assigned by the HCC Officer.
- Assisting the HCC Officer and HCC Specialist in reporting unplanned deviations and supporting the HCC Officer in managing day-to-day enquiries, allegations and investigations.
- Implementing the escalation process for serious allegations, as appropriate.
- Collecting and providing metrics to the HCC Officer and Operations group as assigned.
- Assisting the HCC Officer and HCC Specialist in developing training programs and conducting training for internal parties.
- Assisting the HCC Corporate team in performing testing and monitoring.
- Seeking to innovate and improve working methods.
- Partnering with Global/Regional Operations team.

As a successful Health Care Compliance Specialist you will complement your strong communication, organisational and analytical skills with the ability to work well independently, and also between functions across all levels of the business. You will also have the ability to manage conflicts in an open and constructive manner, and will have strong influencing skills. The role is a 16-month contract role initially and will be based in Wokingham, Berkshire.

Also commutable from Bracknell, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Reading, Slough, and West London.
