Marketing Manager, Environmental Products. £32,000 to £36,000 Basic Salary, dependent on experience. Based Surrey. This is a highly varied, exciting and rewarding position with a dynamic manufacturer of environmental products that sell into the trade. This standalone role, reports straight to the board of directors with significant input into the direction of the company. Therefore, you must be a confident, professional individual with the acumen to make well-researched commercial recommendations.

The role is perfect for an ambitious individual looking for crucial input into company direction, greater autonomy and the opportunity to progress into marketing management in the medium term.

You will have autonomy over the marketing budget and to succeed, you will probably have a degree in marketing or be CIM qualified, with strategic product marketing experience.

However, the essential criteria are:

1) Commercial marketing experience and considerable knowledge of digital marketing.

2) You will be extremely bright, willing to learn new skills and enjoy taking on new responsibilities.

3) You will be able to manage multiple projects at once and be confident, 'commercially savvy' and love learning new technologies.

This role is a combination of taking responsibility for all marketing activities and outsourcing to third-party agencies when necessary.

To be considered for this position you are required to have two years' plus experience in marketing ideally in a Business to Business environment. The perfect candidate will have experience in marketing technical products.

You must know about digital marketing in areas such as search engine optimisation (SEO), pay per click (PPC), and you will have a practical understanding on how social media is used for business. Also, you will have experience of running email marketing campaigns and understand the concept of 'inbound marketing' or marketing automation.

You will have proven marketing skills, strong copywriting skills and be up to date on the latest digital marketing strategies. Your experience will ideally have been gained in marketing products rather than services.
