Main Activities
  • Provide excellent account management for a variety of clients/ industries, (e.g. Fin Tech, E-Commerce, Insurance, Travel)
  • Provide guidance on Content SEO best practice and Content performance metrics
  • Support Business Development with new client pitches by providing client-focused solutions and/ or drafting business cases
  • Schedule and prioritise the day-to-day workload of one SEO Executive
  • Chair and/or take part in daily/weekly planning meetings
  • Instruct other SEO team members effectively in best practices
  • Provide SEO research and analysis based on industry best practice
  • Ensure KPIs of digital campaigns are clarified, confirmed, aligned with client needs and are communicated within the digital team
  • Ensure the timely delivery of projects & tasks or potential delays are clearly communicated internally and externally

Skills & Capabilities

The ideal candidate must have commercial experience in the following skills or have relevant transferable skills:

  • 4+ years’ experience in a performance-driven SEO role
  • Proven Account Management experience
  • Solid technical SEO experience (e.g. redirection plans/ migration support, canonicalisation)
  • A passion in building and maintaining meaningful business relationships
  • Experience managing a small team & multiple (international) freelance resources
  • Advanced Understanding (and qualifications) in industry recognised SEO tools
  • Experience with Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools)
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Experience in analysing link data & evaluating/ conducting outreach activities
  • Working knowledge of other web analytics / SEO tools (such as MOZ, SEM Rush)
  • Experienced in conducting technical site audits & putting those into actions
  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing best practices and a keen interest in SEO trends and developments
  • Highly numerate and commercially minded, with understanding of statistical and arithmetic analysis
  • An understanding of search engines and of all aspects of on-site and off-site SEO
  • Excellent reporting skills & KPI driven approach
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Additional skills that are beneficial to this role include:

  • Experience with Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with blogger outreach/content marketing
  • Understanding of PPC
  • Understanding of HTML and/or JavaScript
  • Successful Outreach record
  • Fluency in an additional language
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
