PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER, ROCCO FORTE HOTELS CORPORATE OFFICE, CENTRAL LONDON
The Marketing team is headed up by the Vice President of Brand Marketing and this team is formed of eight members and is responsible for the marketing and brand management for the Rocco Forte Group.
The PR Manager is a key member of the team and will report to the PR Director. The role will be based at the Rocco Forte central office on Jermyn Street in Central London, but will require occasional travel and work outside normal office hours.
The primary purpose of the role is to work with the PR Director in order to design and executing the Groups public relations and communication strategy to guarantee the brand positioning and the continuous visibility of the Group and its Hotels in national and international media according to business objectives. The role will also implement local of press events in collaboration with the central and hotel teams. The position is accountable for the handling and liaison of press relations and influencers and creating local PR stories.
The ideal candidate will have both excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge of PR in luxury hotels, and its key national and local media contacts, new trends within travel, food, film, fashion, local culture and creative thinking are essential for this position. They will also have the ability to network effectively in order to promote our business to the right people. Property based PR experience and secondary language skills are desirable. There is also an element of administration to this role so the person must also be organised.
