• you'll liaise with the Grant Thornton team where existing relationships exist to effect warm introductions for the Corporate Finance team
• you'll help to encourage a flow of ideas of meeting opportunities into the Deal Origination team from Grant Thornton colleagues
• you'll review and research companies to approach and collate meeting briefs for meetings organised
• you'll update the firm's CRM for all approaches made
Who we're looking for:
The Deal Origination Executive plays a pivotal role within the Corporate Finance and Deal Origination departments, here within Grant Thornton UK LLP.
We are looking for a self -motivated individual with experience of cold calling to join Grant Thornton's Deal Origination Team, here within its Lead Advisory Practice to source new meetings which will lead to deal opportunities.
You'll seize opportunities. We want to adapt quickly and wisely to changing conditions to optimise growth for both our clients and ourselves.
You'll know that what you do matters. As an organisation we want to be known for how we do business, not simply what we do. So, we need people who know that every act matters from the simple things to the insights we bring to clients.
Education, experience and qualifications:
• you'll have experience of successful cold calling such as having worked in the recruitment industry or other setting where large part of the role is the acquisition of introductory meetings
• you'll have the ability to support senior team members with marketing and mailer campaigns
• you'll have excellent written English with a clear communication style
• you'll have experience of working in a telephony based role
You should be commercially focused with the ability to deliver innovative solutions. You should be focused on self-development as well as having the desire to coach, mentor and develop your colleagues.
