The Client:

An internationally recognisable brand that has supplied building materials to the trade for over 200 years. This Business are one of the largest suppliers to the UK’s building and construction industry with a national Branch network.

The Role:

  • You will be fully responsible for the safe and profitable operation of 15-20 Branches across the North West
  • One of your main priorities will be ensuring that Health & Safety standards are consistently upheld at each of your sites
  • You will be expected to provide ongoing professional development for your Team and manage any Personnel issues that arise
  • You will need to be comfortable managing large Customer Accounts and increasing their spend/generating new business

The Successful Candidate:

  • You will currently be a Cluster, Area or Regional Manager in the Trade or DIY sector
  • Merchanting experience is strongly preferred, however candidates from other backgrounds may be considered (especially with a strong interest in DIY as a hobby)
  • You must be able to demonstrate a highly progressive CV and be able to articulate effectively how you have progressed and why you have moved between roles

Salary & Benefits:

  • Starting salary between £65k - £80k (depending on experience)
  • Bonus potential of up to 30%
  • Fully expensed Company Car
