Robertson Bell are working closely with a prestigious education organisation in order recruit a Payroll Manager. This excellent opportunity is on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract basis that is based in North East London.

Reporting into the Director of Finance and Cooperate Affairs, this role will require provide senior hands on support with specific responsibilities such as:
*Provide support to the Payroll team regarding day-to-day issues, training, appraisals and all matters relating to Payroll function.

*Preparation of the month-end report including payroll costing data as well as Manager information packs presenting Budget vs Actual, Current staff and Vacancies.

*Liaising with staff and assisting issues surrounding Tax, National Insurance, Pension deductions, Salaries and Subscriptions to Unions.

*Assuring that the tax yearend is completed accurately and on time in addition to Bank reconciliations, Tax and NI payment reconciliations.

*Be the lead on the Payroll internal audit process.

The successful candidate should CIPP qualified (or working towards) and have the strong ability to work and lead a team. You will need to have excellent understanding of Payroll with at least 4 years' experience in a well-established organisation. You must be able to demonstrate the management of payroll expenditure reports on Excel (or similar systems).
