A well established business services company based in Loughton are currently looking to recruit a Finance Cashier reporting to the Financial Controller. You will being responsible for paying off and receiving funds and ensuring company policies are adhered to.

Duties include:

  • Paying off payments received through the bank and automated payment line
  • Checking the bank for payments received when queries are raised and liaising with the support services team
  • Paying out paid lists to clients
  • Paying off invoices received from suppliers
  • Processing refunds and updating refunds register
  • Transferring funds between bank accounts
  • Dealing with chargebacks and liaising with staff members where required
  • Setting tasks lists for the team
  • Quality checking tasks set for members of the team
  • Dealing with calls
  • Issuing cheques to clients when applicable
  • Filing and scanning documents
  • Processing and dealing with unpaid cheques
  • Ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed and adhered to

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills with the ability to work on your own initiative and have strong numeracy skills.
