Accounts Assistant job for manufacturing company near Okehampton, from £18,000, permanent opportunity

Your new company
You will be working for a manufacturing company based in North Devon. This well established organisation provides employment for a large number of local people and prides themselves on staff retention.

Your new role
You will be working as an accounts assistant. Your responsibilities will be largely transactional, concentrating on purchase and sales ledger, invoice matching, dealing with supplier payments and general ad hoc accounts work.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need good software skills, particularly in Excel and the MS Office Suite, and a background in accounting in a similar role. Ideally you will have some manufacturing experience, but that is not essential. You will also be a strong team player, with a good understanding of the necessary give and take of a small finance department.
