Immediately available Accounts Assistant required for an exciting permanent position working for a small friendly business in the Stourbridge area. You will be solely responsible for the day to day running of the accounts team for the business. Your duties will include sales & purchase ledger (raising invoices to making bacs payments), Bank Reconciliations, VAT Return, Payroll (weekly & monthly), Calculation of Accruals, Prepayments & Depreciation, Calculation of WIP & Deferred Income, Production of Management Accounts and Intercompany reconciliations.

My client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant who can join the company and hit the ground running. You must have 3 years of accounts experience as a minimum and ideally have used Sage in your previous roles. You will be able to work under minimal supervision and be able to manage and prioritise your workloads.

My client is a well established company in the Stourbridge area with an open and friendly culture, is easily accessible by public transport and has on site parking. The working hours are 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. They offer 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and after passing your probation period, you will be put onto the company pension scheme.
